Thank You for Urging Congress to pass the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement

Your Voice Will Be Heard

Below is the letter you just sent to your representative.

I’m writing to urge you and your colleagues to move forward with the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement. The new agreement should not be re-opened or re-negotiated. It should be ratified in its current form.

Already, about 14 million Americans have jobs that depend on trade with Canada and Mexico. These workers are eager to see lawmakers ratify the trade pact as agreed upon by all three signatory nations.

America currently exports over $600 billion in goods and services to Canada and Mexico each year. The new agreement, as written, will increase these exports — and thus raise wages and boost jobs. The agreement will also protect and accelerate American innovation. It is a win for workers and the overall economy and will positively shape the global economy for decades to come.

Please urge your colleagues to support this new trade agreement. Politics should not get in the way such a great deal. It’s time to move forward with the deal as written.
